Senior Practicum for Nursing Students I’m considering the Grace for my clinical experience. What does the Grace have to offer? You will be in an environment that supports both your professional and personal development. The Grace has a variety of resources to help you make your clinical practicum a positive learning experience. First and foremost, we are patient-centred. Our hospital values collaborative decision-making and a supportive and caring environment. We believe that practices, which reflect these values, result in satisfied patients and staff members. There are a wide variety of clinical programs from which to choose. What services are available at the Grace to help me get the most out of my experience? Excellent Library Services The library at the Grace is part of the University of Manitoba library. Do you need help with a literature search? Do you have a question about clinical practice? The library’s reference section, up-to-date selection of journals, and reference services provides access to numerous resources to assist you. If we don’t have what you want, staff will use their many links with other health libraries to get it for you. Preceptor/Buddy Program You can do your clinical practice in your area of interest with an experienced preceptor/buddy with expertise in that clinical area. Your preceptor/buddy will help you in all aspects of your new professional role.
