VISITING INFORMATION
General rules when visiting:
- Only two visitors are allowed per patient at any time.
- Food should not be brought into patient areas without permission from nursing staff.
- An adult must accompany children under the age of 14.
- Visits from people with infectious coughs, colds or communicable diseases should
be avoided.
- Family may want to designate a single person to inquire about the patients’ status at the desk. Too many calls from too many family members steal valuable time from the nursing team – time that could be better directed to patient care.
Tips for a more pleasant visit:
- Try to keep the visit cheerful and fairly brief, take into consideration the well being of other patients.
- If the patient you are visiting is mobile, you may want to visit in one of the day rooms/lounges located on each floor or a common waiting area. If the weather is pleasant, our flower gardens are nice to visit.
