ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS Grace Golf Classic The 2010 Grace Golf Classic is moving to the Glendale Golf and Country Club and will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2010. This course will offer our golfers a new challenge and allow us to take the Grace Golf Classic to a new level of success. This year, your contribution to the Grace Golf Classic will help us raise the $700,000 needed to build a clinical teaching centre in our Emergency Department. This facility will play an essential role in training medical professionals in the most up-to-date techniques and skills in this field. Ultimately, the teaching centre will help us save lives. The evening will showcase some amazing items in our raffle, live and silent auctions and many opportunities for our guests to take home a great souvenir of their fantastic tour. For more information, please contact us at 837-0375. Seeds of Hope Hope and healing continue to grow at the Tree of Life The “Tree of Life – Light for Love” campaign continues to sparkle each year. Every Christmas the Tree of Life lights up the hospital grounds with more than 3,000 shining white lights. Each light represents a $15 gift given in memory or in honour of a loved one or someone special. Each donor receives a tree ornament, which acts as a token of remembrance or as a gift to the honoured. Each light helps brighten the lives of patients at the Host a Special Event of Your Own The Grace Hospital Foundation is the grateful beneficiary of many varieties of community support. From bake sales to golf tournaments, you can make a difference by hosting your own special event, and designating the proceeds to the Grace Hospital Foundation.
